Mr. Ogren's Music Class

Students have swimming Thursday morning, please remember your bathing suit and towel.

The whole school has been working on year end assessments. Students in our class have been completing the math and language arts assessments, so there is no assigned homework today.

Students can read for 20 minutes.

The class will be going swimming at our usual time of 2:20-3:00 pm tomorrow. Please remember to bring your swimsuit and towel. There is also $2 (twoonie) swim after school, you can bring $2 and just stay at the pool.

Students will be dismissed from the pool. (If your child rides the bus they will be reminded to exit the pool a few minutes early to catch the bus.)

We will be playing recorder for music tomorrow. Please remember to bring your recorder.

The second, and final round, of the Talent show Tryouts are tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:20 pm. Please line-up outside the gym after the bell to go outside rings.

It’s class photo day tomorrow. I’m away, but will be stopping at the school at 9:00 am, so our class will be going first. Please don’t be late tomorrow or you will miss the class photo.

I just want to remind parents/guardians that the students will be dismissed from the pool when we swim on Tuesdays, from 2:2o-3:00. If your child takes the bus, they will be asked to get out of the pool by 2:50, to make sure they get back to the school to catch the bus.

I will also be looking into the students catching the bus at NISS, so they can swim right up to 3:00.

Jump Rope for Heart will take place in the gym all day tomorrow. Each class will jump for about 30 minutes with their buddy class. Our class will be jumping with our little buddies in the afternoon.

Please return the Jump Rope forms, even if you did not get any pledges.
