Mr. Ogren's Music Class

The class has earned a Class Party. Whenever the whole class has a good lesson, comes in quietly, or any other activity that the whole class does appropriately, they earn a sticker. When they have earned 100 stickers they have a class party. Thursday has been slated as the class party. The basic shape of the day is a games morning and movie afternoon (they have not voted on the movie yet.)  Students are also allowed to wear their PJ’s for the day and bring one stuffy and blanket.

This Thursday is a PAC sponsored Hot Dog Day. Order forms were sent out yesterday. Hot Dogs are the usual $2 and Chocolate milk and juice are $1.

We have been working on the digestive system in Science. There are a few students that still need to complete the colouring of the various organs. The main criteria is that each organ be coloured a different colour.

The class has only completed the bottom portion of the sentences section. We will finish the page next week, as the info to answers the questions gets projected on the SMART Board.

The weather forecast is for lots of rain. Mrs. Lok and I are asking that students come with an extra pair of dry socks, so if their feet are wet they can at least change their socks and put on their gym shoes in class. An extra pair of pants might also be a good idea.

The Grade 7’s are hosting another Bake Sale this week (Thursday & Friday). All items are $1.

Please remember to bring your recorder to school Friday. We will be getting back into playing. A music booklet will also be coming home then to practice.
