Mr. Ogren's Music Class

I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! If you are traveling, I hope that everyone has a safe drive, flight, boat and/or sleigh ride.

School re-opens on Tuesday, Jan. 9th. Monday is an Inservice Day.

The Students’ Council will be hosting a movie and popcorn in the gym for the afternoon. The popcorn is free and the movie is “Elf” starring Will Ferrell.

It is also PJ Day! Students can bring one stuffy!

The Christmas Concert is tomorrow!!! Wednesday, Dec. 20th! It starts at 7:00 pm sharp! Students should be reporting to their classes by 6:50 pm. No Sunset students are allowed to sit in the gym for the concert, it will be standing room only for guests and family.

There is also a Dress Rehearsal at 9:15 am Wednesday Morning. If for any reason you cannot attend the actual concert, family and friends are more than welcome to attend the rehearsal.

Our class are just wearing the Christmas best for the concert.  No hats unless they are Christmas related, ie. Santa hats.

Report Cards were sent out today (Friday) after school. Please sign the blue card and return it with the envelope. You can keep the marks and comments sheets.

The Grade 7’s will be delivering their chili orders tomorrow.

Do you have an ugly Christmas sweater, a Santa hat, elf ears, candy cane leggings, reindeer antlers? Wear one, wear them all this Friday! Students’ Council is hosting a spirit day this Friday – DRESS CHRISTMASY!!!!  Even just wear red and/or green! 

A reminder note will be coming home tomorrow.

At the end of the day, Mrs. Lok and I didn’t really have anything to add to planners, but I forgot that tomorrow the Grade 7’s are continuing their bake sale. All items are $1.

The Grade 7’s are hosting another Bake Sale this Thursday and Friday! Everything is $1! The sale will take place at recess and lunch after the eating bell.

Gift Basket Raffle $1 – tickets will be on sale every day at lunch in front of the office. The draw will take place and winners announced at the Chirstmas Concert on Dec. 20th.
