The latest Hot Dog Day is this Thursday! Order forms were sent out today.

Hot Dogs – $2,   Chocolate milk or Juice $1

I forgot to remind students that we have music tomorrow and to remember to bring their recorders. If they forget, I do have some extras they can borrow (yes, they are washed after every time they are used.)

Individual photos were sent home today.  If you are not happy with the photos and would like retakes, save the photos, as you’ll need to return them on retake day. I will post the date of retakes as soon as I know.

The Grade 5 Camp Homewood meeting is tonight (Nov. 7) @ 6:00 pm in the Sunset Library. We will be discussing costs, dates, chaperones, activities and fundraisers. We will also be answering any questions you may have about the trip.

Patterns and rounding sheet due Thursday

There should be a notice about the Poinsettia Orders coming due next Friday on Nov. 10th. They will be delivered to the school on Nov. 29th.

It’s that time of year again – BAGS OF CANDY!!!! We have asked that students are limited to a maximum of two candies per day. This will help them avoid an overload of sugar so they can stay focused on their school work and hopefully help reduce behaviour issues.

Students that have more than two candies will have it taken away until after school.

To relax after a busy Halloween, Students’ Council is hosting a spirit day – PJ DAY!

Kids can bring a stuffy, but just one. 

Students’ Council is hosting a Halloween Dance Monday @ 3:30-5:00 pm for the intermediate students. It’s $2 to get in.  Costumes are encouraged, but must be put on after school. 

(There will also be a free short dance from 2:15-3:00 pm for all the primary students.)
