It’s hard to believe, but the last day of school is here! This year has flown by. This has been a wonderful class to work with and I will miss them. Report Cards will be handed out at the end of the day. If your child is away tomorrow, the report cards can be picked up in the office after school and Friday. Report Cards not picked up will be mailed early next week.
Most kids were cleaning out their desks and cubby area today. Please make sure that everything goes home Thursday. Have a walk by the Lost and Found, there are a ton of clothes, shoes, etc.
After swimming, the class will be walking down to the community hall to play the Animal Game. After the game, we will be having a late lunch at Subway. Students need to bring their own money for lunch.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for running through the trails and forest.
No, that’s not a misprint! LOL! It’s unit 1 from the Grade 6 Spelling Program to give the students a little taste of the start of next year. We finished all 30 units from the Grade 5 program.

I haven’t seen a schedule yet, but if students want to take part in the rodeo that need to bring their bike and MUST wear a helmet. Students can share bikes with a friend, especially if they are bus students, they just need to wear a helmet.
The is no spelling unit this week. We’ll be using this week to catch up on any missing assignments before the marks cut off for the year.
Don’t forget your swim suit and towel. We swim first thing Tuesday morning at 9:20 am.
I think this may be the last book order of the year. Orders are due June 1. Mrs. Plumridge will be here Thursday morning to collect them.
