Assignments Due and Test Friday!
The class is traveling to Alert Bay Friday to attend the Cultural Celebration at the Big House. We will be catching the 11:30 am ferry and returning at 4:05pm. Students will be dismissed from the ferry terminal, so parents will need to pick up students there. Arrangements have been made for students traveling to Woss.
If your kid is in the Talent Show he/she should have brought home a notice. There are a few kids from our class in the show. Should be a great show.
Our first swim time is at 9:30 am tomorrow morning.
There’s no school Monday! I that gives everyone a little extra rest from Camp Homewood! I know I need the day and I was only there 3 days! LOL!

Our class starts swimming Tuesday morning at 9:30am. There are a few kids without permission forms still, please bring them Tuesday or you can’t swim.
We are anticipating an arrival time of between 3:00 and 3:30 for the students returning from Camp Homewood.
I left Wednesday night, to teach music Thursday and Friday. The students had a great three days so far. I was sad to leave early, it was so much fun!
The NVIAS Art Show is at the Community Hall this weekend. The grade 5’s have some of their 1/2 & 1/2 pictures displayed!
The admission is by donation.
Swimming starts next week, but since our class is away for Camp Homewood, we’ll start the week we get back. The Grade 5’s get two swim classes a week. Our times are Tuesdays at 9:30 am and Thursdays at 2:15 pm. On Thursdays, students will be dismissed from the pool.
Some days there are public swims after school. I think it’s $2 to stay at the pool and swim more on Thursdays after 3:00pm.
