The De’Vry Plant Orders are due today (Wednesday, April 19th). You can bring it in Thursday if you forgot them. Just drop them off at the office.

The Subway orders are due today. You can drop off orders after school if you need. Late orders will not be accepted. 

The last school-sponsored organized fundraiser for Camp Homewood was sent out today. The Walk-A-Thon will take place on Wednesday, May 3 after lunch. The students will be walking 15 laps of the NISS Track (5 km). (The date may be changed due to weather.)

The entire amount raised by each student will go to their outstanding balance. Every student will receive a total raised so far next week, with an estimated amount of remaining balance. We are still waiting for an official cost from Camp Homewood.

We will also be sending home permission forms from the School District and Camp Homewood in the near future.

The Grade 5 class sang, accompanied by the grade 7’s a few 6’s,  two of Grace Vanderwaal’s songs at an assembly on Monday. They were to draw attention to the theme of anti-bullying for the month of April.

Due to Good Friday, students can hand in their Spelling assignments on Tuesday, April 18. The Weekly test will also happen that day. This is a challenging list and I wanted to give students enough time to study.

Parents and family are welcome to attend the assembly at 2:00 pm Monday. Our class will be singing two songs, accompanied by the Grade 7 class on ukulele. 

The Sunset Fun Fair is tonight from 5-8 pm. Come on out and have some fun and raise money for the Sunset PAC. One main thing this helps pay for is the Swimming Program in the Spring.
