Mr. Ogren's Music Class

The latest round of Book Orders are due Friday. Mrs. Plumridge will be here to collect the orders at lunch.

Jannik Hansen sent Tyrone an autographed hockey card. 

Our class has been practising two songs with the Grade 7 playing ukulele. We will be performing the songs at an assembly for the school on Monday, April 10th.  The time of the assembly has not yet been determined, but assume it will be in the afternoon. I will post the time as soon as I know.

The songs fit with the April “Anti-Bullying Month” theme, so if students have something Pink they can wear that would be great.

Parents, Family and friends are more than welcome to attend the assembly to hear the class sing.

Assignments due and test Friday!

Pleas make sure that all coffee orders are handed in today. I need to have the order organized and into Aroma Coffee by Monday.

The second round of Coffee Orders are due today. You can bring them in Thursday or Friday if you need an extra day. They have to be in this week, Aroma Coffee on Quadra Island needs our order in by Monday. I will be picking up the freshly roasted coffee on Sunday, April 23.

Your child gets $6 per bag profit towards their Camp Homewood total.

This is just a reminder that there is information meeting tonight for parents about the Grade 5 Trip to Camp Homewood. The trip is scheduled for the week of May 15-19.

The meeting will discuss the basics of Camp Homewood, chaperones, costs and remaining fundraisers.

This Thursday is Hot Dog Day! Hot Dogs are the usual $2 each and chocolate milk and/or juice is $1.

Just a reminder that there is a Camp Homewood parent meeting Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the library. Hopefully the notice made it home that was sent out the week before Spring Break.
