Mr. Ogren's Music Class

There are 7 students from our class that are attending the Track & Field Meet this Wednesday. There is a permission form that needs to be signed by parents. The meet is at Sunset & NISS, but they still need to have the field trip form signed due to possible injuries and to let parents know that they will be out of class for a major portion of the day.

There will also be a Concession here at Sunset School. All students will be allowed to purchase goodies at lunch if they wish to bring a little money. I do know that there will be popcorn for sale.

For those students that were planning on taking part in the 6/7 Friendship Baseball Tournament, it has been cancelled to the weather forecast for Friday! School will be in session as normal for those students.

Don’t forget you swimsuits and towels tomorrow. We swim at 2:20 pm. If your child would like to take part in the public swim right after, it’s only $2!

The paper copy will be coming home Wednesday. I did not see them in my box before dismissal.

The last round of book orders are due Tuesday. No lates will be accepted to make sure that the orders are in before the end of the year.

Please don’t forget that we have swimming Monday. Monday & Wednesday from 2:40-3:00 are our regular times until the last week of school. 

Last Friday, the class went on a nice hike on the Rotary Trail with our Kindergarten buddies. We’re just sitting on a log enjoying some cool slurpees in the sunshine.

Due to the week only being three days long, the students have a break from Spelling. We will start up again Monday. This would be a great opportunity to catch up on any missing Spelling assignments – report cards are quickly approaching!
