I forgot to have students write that we’re walking to Cheslakees tomorrow for buddies. We will be leaving the school around 1:20 pm and returning by 2:45pm.
The RCMP are hosting their annual Cram the Cruiser food drive for the food bank. Students are asked to bring in non-perishable food items or cash donations by Friday.
They will also be having a cruiser down at IGA on Dec. 1, where you can drop off donations.
Students’ Council is raising money for cancer buy selling moustaches Thursday. For a minimum donation of $1, you can have a moustache painted on to show your support of MOVEMBER! All money collected will be donated to the cancer society.
The PAC is sponsoring another Subway Day. The orders were sent out today.
We will be premiering our video for the CBC Music Class in a celebration in the gym this Wednesday @ 11:30 am. Families are welcome to attend the event.
We will be hosting a parent meeting about Camp Homewood on Tuesday, Nov. 27 @ 6:30 pm to discuss the grade 5 trip to Camp Homewood in the Spring. The meeting will be in the Sunset Library.
Most of the staff, including myself, will be at PHSS Friday to attend a variety of professional development workshops. I will be attending an all day workshop on the effects of trauma on learning and behaviour.
