The latest round of Book Orders were sent out today and are due Wednesday, March 2

If your child ordered a science fair back board, can you please send the money in by Friday – $8.40. You can also make your own boards with cardboard, chloroplast or plywood.

There is a very important ski trip notice coming home today for all grade 6 students. Our second ski day is quickly approaching – Monday, March 7! Mount Cain still has snow and will be open.

The cost for the day is still $50. Our bus costs came in on budget and lower than I anticipated. Please have the fee in by Tuesday, March 1.

Students can also order a bag lunch from Mount Cain, they are only $6 and provide a sandwich/wrap, fruit, veggie, drink and baked goody.  Orders & money must be in by Wednesday, March 2.

If you are wanting to be a parent chaperone, please indicate on the form that was sent home Wednesday and return by this Friday, if possible. I’m hoping that everyone that came last time can come again.

The second round of coffee orders will be sent home today. This fundraiser is the second towards the Grade 5 Camp Homewood Trip. The orders are due on March 14. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mrs. Lok or Mr. Ogren at 250-956-4434. All orders must be prepaid.

There are no Challenge Words this week – I think the regular lists will be enough of a challenge.

Assignments Due and Test Friday!

There are a number of students that tried out for the Sunset basketball team and there is a tournament Wednesday. Permission Forms need to be returned by Tuesday to go. This is only for those students that tried out and made the list.

The Hot Dog Day notice was sent out today. Orders are due Wednesday, so supplies can be purchased.

$2 – Hot Dog  and $1 for Chocolate Milk or Juice
