Santa Letters Signed by Parents

As part of the class’ language arts on letter writing, we are writing letters to Santa. As part of the lesson, students need to get parents to proofread and sign the rough draft.

The letter should include:

  1. What they want for Christmas
  2. Have they been naughty or nice, with a promise to behave if they have been naughty
  3. a description where they live

We are working at adding descriptive language to our writing through the addition of adjectives and adverbs.

I just reminded students that there is the Candy Guess and Cram the Cruiser going on.

They can be working on studying for the Spelling test, completing the spelling assignments, practicing the times tables and reading for homework. For math, the started working on learning about geometric solids and making them. They also decorated them, as they can make great ornaments for a Geome-tree!
