Rent-a-Gorilla for Terry Fox Tomorrow

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Rent-a-Gorilla Day. For a minimum donation of $1, students can rent one of Mr. Ogren’s gorillas for the desk to support the Terry Fox Run.

I did warn students that if the gorilla is distracting from their learning they will be put away.

Magazines for Art

There will be a couple Art projects coming up in a couple weeks that require the students to cut out and use pictures from magazines. If you have any magazines around your house that you want to get rid of that have lots of great pictures children could draw, please send them with your child.

I do have a few at school, so if you do not have any – no worries. There should be lots to share.

I have logged all the students in class onto RAZ Kids (Reading A-Z). There is a link from the Fun Links on the right hand side of this website. When it asks you for the Teacher Login, it is kogrenO (it ends with the number O [zero]- not the letter o.)

If you child is finding the reading too hard or too easy, please let me know and I can easily change the level.
