Assignments Due & Test Friday!!

Students will be drawing autobiographical timelines starting next week. Most families should have received an outline to help with the project. If you do not have a copy, just use a piece of paper and write down one or two major events for year since your child was born. Some examples are: first tooth, new baby sister or brother, lost front teeth, trips (Disneyland, etc.), moved, pets, etc. If you do not know the exact date a close guess works.

Student Council is hosting a School Dance tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15. The dance for the Intermediate classes is from 3:30 – 5:00 and the admission is $2.

The theme of the dance is Bright Lights! Dress in your brightest clothes!!!!

There is also a free dance for the primary students at lunch. Our Kindergarten buddies will be coming over and will be able to take part in the dance.

Student-Led Conferences start Monday at 2:30 pm; therefore, there are early dismissals Monday & Tuesday to accommodate them.

Student-Led Conferences are approaching quickly. They are scheduled for Monday, April 13^th and Tuesday, April 14^th. Student-Led Conferences are an informal report that allows students to show parents and guardians some of the things they are proud of and to have the students demonstrate a few of the routines we have at school.

Students will be dismissed at 2:00 pm on both Monday, April 13^th and Tuesday, April 14^th to allow for scheduled conferences.

There is a schedule listed on the handout that was sent home Tuesday. The conference times are 30 minute blocks. Students will be leading the conference, so I can schedule up to four families per time slot. Please list your 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd choices for times. I will try and accommodate 1^st choices as best as I can.

Please return your choices by this Thursday, April 9^th. I will send home a list of the confirmed times Friday, April 10^th.
