I have posted a variety of photos from the 2015 Sunset Science Fair. Check out the link above. It was also PJ Day! 17 Students from our class volunteered to put their projects in the Science Fair! It was an Excellent Turn Out!!!! Job Well Done to all that participated! There were over 100 projects this year – Way to go Sunset!!
Congratulations to Isaac & Garrett for qualifying for the Regional Science Fair. The Regional Science Fair is at NISS this Thursday, April 9.
The Spring DeVries Flower orders were sent out Tuesday, The orders are due by April 24th. The flowers are due to arrive at the school on May 6.

The Students’ Council is hosting a spirit day Thursday, April 2 – It will be Pajama Day! Students can wear their Pajamas and they can also bring one stuffy to have at their desk.
The class spent most of the day presenting Science projects, so I did not assign any additional homework. This time can be used to catch up on Spelling, the weekly assignments are due Thursday this week because of Easter holidays.
The Science Fair Setup is today (March 31) at the end of the school day. I think most of the class have the projects here already for the practice presentations in class.
Judging will take place tomorrow morning (Wednesday, April 1 – that’s no joke!). For families and parents that would like to view the Science Fair, please feel free to drop in for the afternoon or after school.
I forgot to have students write the Math homework in their planners. They were working on Lesson 9 Unit 9 “Comparing Area and Perimeter.” They completed a Lesson 9 last week, but this lesson is from the Grade 3 Textbook as a review of comparing area and perimeter as many student were getting confused between the two concepts. The sheet is due Tuesday.
