Mr. Ogren's Music Class

The students will have a very busy morning with the spelling test and the final component of the FSA exam (Online Numeracy), so I have decided to give them a break in the afternoon to have a class party.

1:00 pm Valentine Card Exchange

1:30 pm – Start class party -including a dance in class & enjoy any goodies brought by students.

2:00 pm – Ms. Katipis & Mrs. Moncton’s classes have been invited to join us to dance. Those students that do not want to take part in the dance can go to Ms. Katipis’ class to do some Valentine’s Art.

2:50 pm -Clean up and Planners Time

I sent out a class list of first names with students Tuesday afternoon. There are a couple students that moved away last week, if your child wants to give them a card too I will get them to the students that moved.

Card Exchange will take place in the afternoon!

The only rule for handing out Valentine’s is that you give one to everyone in the class. Thanks.

List B – “oo” words: book, cook, took, look, football, foot, wood, good, stood, wool

Assignments Due and Test Friday! Don’t forget that we have one less day to work assignments due to holiday on Monday.

The Student Council is hosting a Valentine’s Dance Wednesday for the Intermediate students from 3:30-5:00 pm. Admission is $2!

There will be a free dance at lunch for the primary students (12:20-12:50).

Student Council will be selling Candy Grams again for $0.50 at lunch on Feb. 10-13th. They will be delivered on the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 13 for Valentine’s Day. Candy Grams are a card and a chocolate.

Monday, Feb. 9 is Family Day, a statutory holiday, so there is no school in session. I hope that everyone has a fun and safe long weekend.

I will be sending a class list of first names home with students Thursday to make Valentines Cards. The class will have a card exchange next Friday, February 13th.

My only rule with Valentine Cards is that I ask if you are handing out cards, that you give one to everyone and not exclude any students.

We will be having a class party in the afternoon. We will be opening cards in the afternoon.
