The first of the School Spirit Week activities is Wacky Hair Day Tuesday. Students are also asked to bring in a non-perishable food item for the food bank, if they’re able.

Assignments Due & Test Friday

A. Spirit Week! The Student Council is hosting a School Spirit Week next week. A notice should have came home Friday with your child.  Student Council is asking that students bring in at least one non-perishable food item for the food bank to take part in the spirit day. (Students are still welcome to take part even they cannot afford to bring in an item.)

1. Tuesday, Dec. 9 is Wacky Hair Day

2. Wednesday, Dec. 10 is Twin Day

3. Thursday, Dec. 11 is Hat Day

B. Dance:  Student Council will also be hosting a School Holiday Dance for grades 4-7 Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 3:30-5:00pm for just $2 admission. (Primaries will have a dance at lunch on the same day.)

C. Holiday Movie in Gym: On the last day of school, December 19, Student Council is hosting a movie afternoon in the gym. Title of movie not yet determined.

Most students had to finish the Math sheet today for homework. It’s Lesson 2 called “Telling Time”

We will be starting a short unit on Geometric Solids next week. Students will be making a variety of shapes: cubes, prisms, pyramids & a dodecahedron! Turning them all into Christmas ornaments.

The PAC is hosting the Santa Gift Shop again this year. The notice was sent home with more information will be sent home Thursday.

The dates are Thursday, Dec. 11 & Friday, Dec. 12. Our class’ scheduled time to visit the shop is Thursday 1:00-1:45 pm. We also have Friday 1:30-2:00, but that is only for the students that actually bring money.

Please check the notice in your child’s planner for more info.

We are planning on walking to Cheslakees Friday to be with our buddies. Please dress for rain and wear good walking shoes.

It’s that time a year again – Christmas Concert!!!! YEAH!

A notice went home with some information about the concert, including costumes. Our class has a variety of parts and hopefully your child knows which part they’re playing.
