Mr. Ogren's Music Class

I forgot to mention to students the classroom rule on Halloween candy. I’m asking that students only bring two pieces of Halloween candy each day in their lunch. If students have candy at their desks during class I will take it away.

I hope that everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! Thankfully the weather looks like it might cooperate.

The morning will hopefully be as normal as possible, spelling test, journals, French, etc.

Pumpkin Carving in the morning (I don’t know what time yet.)

Costumes in the afternoon only. There will also be a costume parade in the afternoon, with a pumpkin light up in the gym.

This is a reminder that the student council is hosting a dance after school Thursday from 3:30-5:00. It cost $2 to get in and there will be a concession. Costumes are allowed at the dance.

The students hopefully brought home the pumpkin carving permission forms Tuesday. They MUST be returned by Friday morning. Students will only be allowed to carve pumpkins if they return the signed form.

Pumpkin carving will take place in the gym Friday morning. I have not seen a schedule of exactly when yet. If any parents/grandparents can come help please indicate on the form. More help the better.

The class will be walking to Cheslakees Wednesday after lunch to take part in “Take Yourself Outside” Day with out Kindergarten buddies. We will be helping our little buddies with a variety of art and craft activities.

Please dress for rain. We will be outside the whole afternoon.

The students should have brought their parent/teacher conference time confirmations today. I have also posted the schedule, click the link above. I was able to accommodate one of the top three choices of all the forms that were returned. If I have not received a from back I just assigned one of the available time slots. Monday night is totally full.

There will be early dismissal both days at 2:00 pm.
