The grade 4’s will be completing the government mandated exam called the FSA (Foundation Skills Assessment) during the first couple weeks of February. There are two basic components to the test: Numeracy and Literacy (Reading comprehension and writing). We have been practicing a little in class. Two parts of the exam are totally online. You need to click on School District first (Vancouver Island North 85), then click the test you would like to try. The class has attempted both, but the students could use some extra practice.
