I am trying to set up a walking field trip to the public library next week. I’m hoping to be able to do it on Wednesday after swimming. The plan was to walk to Subway for lunch and then to the library. Hopefully I will be able to send home Library Card application forms Monday for all  students that do not currently have one. That way when we arrive at the library, every student will be able to sign out a couple books for silent reading and the “I’m Bored” Hobby Project.

The librarian also wants a chance to speak to the students about the Summer Reading Program at the library.

Sunset’s library will be closed to signing out book after this week, so that Mrs. Olsen and Mrs. Plumridge can conduct a year-end inventory.
