Our class has been invited to take part in the National Aboriginal Day Celebrations at Fort Rupert on Monday, June 22. A permission form was sent out today for the event. I will attach a copy to this website.

There are a variety of interesting activities, such as; face painting, cedar weaving, dancing, storytelling, etc.  The students will not be taking part in the canoe ride portion of the day, as we have already done that activity.

Lunch is not provided, students can bring a bagged picnic lunch. There will be vendors there selling food if students wanted to bring money to purchase food. I do not know prices or items being sold.
