Our swimming lessons are on Wednesdays from 11:00 – 11:40 am. we’ll be walking over to the pool right after recess. If your child is able to wear their bathing suit under their regular clothes, that will speed up the getting changed process.

There is only one list this week for all students.

A notice came out from the office about a possible cases of scabies. The notice had information about the possible symptoms. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office Tuesday.

Monday is a statutory holiday, Victoria Day, so there is no school in session. See you all Tuesday. I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing long weekend.

Swimming lessons start next week. The permission forms went out today. Please sign and return the forms ASAP. They must be signed for your child to go swimming. Our tentative schedule is Wednesdays 11:00-11:40 am, but that may change. I will post the confirmed times as soon as I know.

Click the lick above to see the see a batch of new photos from the class creating their Paper Mache Fantasy Castles. This activity was an extension of our Harry Potter novel study. I have posted photos from the first two construction phases; 1. building the base and 2. paper mache’ing the castle. We will continue to paper mache the castles Thursday and Friday and move on to the painting phase next week when everything is dry and hard.

The students will be creating a name and story about their castles for creative writing.

All of the students will be taking part in swimming lessons starting next week. Our tentative time is every Wednesday from 11:00 am-11:40 am. Permission Forms will hopefully go home Thursday or Friday. There is no cost for the lessons, the Sunset PAC raises the money to cover all the costs with activities like the Fun Fair.
