Many of the students completed the work in class today, but a few did not.

Some of the students asked to play on the website www.arcademics.com. I checked it out and it has a variety of fun and educational games that work on math, language arts and typing skills. Many of the games are multi-player and allow the kids to compete.

We had a few “Can you beat Mr. Ogren Challenges?” The answer has been “yes” a few times! There is a link to the site under the Blogroll on the right hand side of the main page. Check it out, it’s lots of fun – until the kids beat you! LOL!

Some students have not finished the reading assignment on Making Maple Syrup. It is due Thursday.

Te class will be walking to Cheslakees Wednesday afternoon to meet with our buddies. Please dress for possible rain. The weather report says just foggy, but chances of showers.

Monday, January 20 is an Inservice Day, so there is no school in session for the students. The focus of the day for the teachers is on  “trades and careers” education, as well as, we will be having a look at some of the new curriculum coming out.
