It’s a provincial holiday Monday – Family Day! I hope that everyone has a fun and relaxing long weekend.;

Student Council is hosting an Olympic-theme door decorating contest. Every class was assigned an Olympic sport, we got Alpine Skiing! Check out the photos! We were voted #1 door by the students’ council!

The latest newsletter from the office with the attached plant order went home today. With the money raised by our class in the plant order will go to a possible field trip later in the year. Last year my class buddies with another class and used our funds to go to San Jo Bay.

2. Dress in Blue & Yellow for Friday – Student Council is planning a mock Olympic opening ceremony in the gym on Friday afternoon. Our class is representing Sweden. The students have all made Swedish flags to carry, but they can also dress in Blue and Yellow if they want.

Assignments Due and Test Friday

While the Grade 4 students are completing the FSA, the grade 3’s will be completing a mini-science unit on the planets in the Solar System. They each have chosen a  planet and have three worksheets to complete. Follow the link below to find information about your planet:

The students will also be creating a paper mache model of their planet.

The grade 4’s will be out with Mr. Gray to work on the provincial FSA tests. They were out during Math today and will also be out twice on Friday. The tests will also continue next Monday and possibly Thursday/Friday next week if not finished.
