New Reading Practice Website!

I have signed up my class for the new RAZ-Kids website. The website has a variety of levelled books. Click on the link below and then click on the student log in on the top right hand corner. Our class is under kogren0  (it’s a zero at the end of kogren). RAZ stands for Reading A-Z, which is one of the reading programs that the Grades 1-4 are using during Guided Reading.

You should then get a class list, click on your name and start the activities. I have logged in each student at their Guided Reading level.

We will be working on using the program in class as well.

Photos out today!

The school photos were sent home today. If you would like retakes, please do not cut the photos and return the package to the school. Retakes should be in the near future. The retakes are free as long as the original package is returned.

The students also brought home “Pictures to Protect”. These are photo ID cards for parents to carry in your wallet in the event that your child went missing. You write your child’s stats on the back. This service is provided free from the photography company.
