Mr. Ogren's Music Class

There are still a few students that have not returned there timeline outlines. We have been working on the timelines in Social Studies & Art this week. They are looking awesome!!! Without the outline, students will have trouble completing the first 6-7 years of the life. If they have lost the sheet, just write down one or two events for each year since their birth on a sheet of paper (there are just a few that still need them.)

The students will be walking to Cheslakees Friday for a Buddy activity. Please dress for rain as we will go even if there are light showers. The students will be working on an outdoor activity, so please dress appropriately for playing in the forest (good footwear). The students will be helping the K’s build Fairy Houses.

All students are completing the same unit this week. I have taken all the words from the students’ journal entries. They are words that many students have trouble with on a regular basis.

I have posted some updates to the Important Dates Page, please check them out.

1. Monday Math Night is Cancelled. Mr. Calkins, the host of Monday night’s Math Night, is very sick and regrettably needed to cancel. Hopefully we will get a chance to reschedule for later in the school year. I hope that Mr. Calkins is feeling better soon.

2. HEAD LICE Notice: some cases of head lice have been found, so a notice with some advice on how to deal with head lice and prevent it spreading.

You may contact the office if you have any questions or concerns about either notice.

If you have collected money for DeVry Flower orders, please return the order forms Friday. We must get the orders in to make sure they arrive before Mother’s Day.

Assignments are also due.

D’Vry Plant orders are due this Friday. The order has to be in so the plants can be delivered by Mother’s Day. The money raised by each class, goes to that class.
