I forgot to remind students to write that we’re walking to Cheslakees Monday for buddy activities (unless there is still the cougar threat). Please dress for rain!
We are asking parents to please pick up students after school today. We are not allowing students to walk home due to a cougar sighted near the school today.
The Eagle View School Grade 7 Class is hosting a fundraiser Friday, Feb. 14. It’s a Valentine’s Day spaghetti dinner and magic show (I hear the magician is SPECTACULAR!!!!). Tickets are $10 each or $30 for the whole family. You can call EVES at 250-949-6418 if you need more info for tickets and times.
I gave all the students a class list, with first names only, for making out their Valentine’s Cards. I ask that if students are handing out cards, that they give them to everyone.
There will also be Candy-grams handed out by the student council Friday as well. If students would like to bring treats, we will most likely have a class party between recess and lunch, as we may be walking to Cheslakees for buddies in the afternoon (weather permitting).
The Student Council is selling Candy-Grams for $0.25 each at recess until Thursday. A Candy-gram is a valentine’s card with a candy attached that will be delivered on Friday by the Student Council.
