Friday is the last day of the Student Council’s Spirit Week. Friday is Twin/Triple Day. 

The student council will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank. Thanks again for all the families that have been able to donate so far.

If you are one of those families that need to access a food hamper, please contact the office to find out how.

The class will be walking to Cheslakees to work with our buddies Friday afternoon. Please dress for cold weather.

THe 4th spirit day is Pajama Day. The student council is still collecting non-perishable food items for the hamper fund. Our class has been very generous so far!

Test and Assignments Due Friday!

The student council is hosting Spirit Week all this week. Tuesday is Hat Day. The student council is asking students to bring in non-perishable food items for the food bank each day.

It’s that time a year again! The PAC is hosting the Santa’s Gift Shop in the Library. This is where the students can purchase a some gifts for siblings and parents with the aid of volunteers from the PAC. They will package wrap the gifts for them. You child should have brought home a flyer last week with a list and envelope.

Our time at the shop is 1:30 pm Tuesday. (Students that are away or forget money will have a second chance Wednesday afternoon, but the selection is a little scarce by then.)

We have been reading Roald Dahl’s Boy:  My Story of Childhood. One of the first stories that he remembers writing was “The Day in the Life of a Penny.”  He wrote the story in grade 4 and still has it. The 3/4’s are writing their own version of the story.

“A Day in the Life of a…”  The students are writing stories about an inanimate object of their choice, for example, the day in the life of their pencil. Rough Copies are due Thursday.

Student Council is also hosting a Spirit Week – December 2-6. There will be a variety of activities each day and students are asked to bring in non-perishable food items for the Hamper Drive.
